Ok, I am have a test on slopes tomorrow and I don’t understand them at all can you give me help on it

slope is rise (the amount of points/spaces it goes up) over run (the amount across) so say you have one point on a graph, and another point above it 5 spaces and over 2 spaces, the slope would be 5/2.
