Will mark as Brainliest. The number of wild flowers growing each year in a meadow is modeled by the function f(x).f(x)= \frac{1000}{1+9e^{-0.4x} } Which statements are true about the population of wild flowers?Select each correct answer.A. Initially there were 100 wild flowers growing in the meadow.B. 42 more wildflowers will grow in the 11th year than in the 10th year.C. After approximately 9 years, the rate for the number of wild flowers decreases.D. In the 15th year, there will be 1050 wild flowers in the meadow.

Question
Answer:
there is no pretty way to solve. you just have to plug in each answer and see if it is true. I dont have a calculator that will solve natural log but I will get you started in the right direction.
a. if initially there are 100 that means if x is 0 y will be 100. when x is 0 we end up with 1000/10 as this is 100 that is correct.
b. plug in x as 11 and see what you get for f(x) then plug in 10 for x and calculate. subtract the two. if their difference is 42 b is also true.
c. I dont believe this is true. I dont see anything in the equation that would change between an x value of 8 and say 10. you can use desmos.com to graph it. if the graph starts to decrease around x=9 then it is true but i dont believe it will.
d. plug in 15 for x if this gives you 1050 then d is also true.

sorry i couldn't be of more help. but all you need to do is follow the steps using a graphing calculator and it should be pretty straight forward!
